My car has some electrical glitches. Its a manual 2003 E46 330 ci convertible. These are dashboard related. Indicators not flashing on dash but working outside. Headlamps working bug no dash illumination, steering wheel stereo control not working. Pos related is soft top not working. Unrelated is the ageing Bluetooth which packed up a while

Might be a fault indicator light or connection on one of the doors. try to move the car around with one of the other doors (besides drivers) open and see if the indicator goes on.

No dashboard lights after cghanging battery. I have a 2007 328XI and bought a bmw battery and had it installed by my mechanic. He was able to keep the car charged and kept some settings but the dashboard lights are out. I have no signals, no gas readings, no odometer. Does anything have to be reprogrammed from BMW.

I have a BMW 320i E46 2004 and the indicator lights have just stopped working the dash indicators don't work either, the globes do not flash and if i press the hazard lights nothing happens. normal lights come on but high beam also not
Check the oil warm or cold, it does not matter. The difference in the result is not enough to turn the Low Oil Lighth on. If the engine is warm, let the oil drain for a minute or two, or longer if you are not in any hurrty. Pull the dipstick and wipe it clean, put it in again them pull it out and read the level.

Not effected and working fine:-. Xenon Headlights. Interior lights - Door Lights / Reading Lights / Courtesy lights / Vanity Lights. Sometimes during the flickering issue when turn car off brake lights turn on and stay on. Only temporary solution I have found is removing negative cable from battery for a while may solve this.
